Von Luther bis zur Lega Nord | Die Geschichte des Antiziganismus
Die Fachstelle Extremismusdistanzierung in Trägerschaft der LAG e. V. lädt für den 26. Oktober 2021 zu einem Online Vortrag ein.
Der Vortrag wirft einen Blick auf die Geschichte des Antiziganismus in Europa. Er zeigt die historischen Kontinuitäten von Ausgrenzung und Verfolgung sowie die Folgen für Sinti:zze und Rom:nja bis in die Gegenwart. Diskriminierung gehört bis heute in sämtlichen gesellschaftlichen Bereichen zum Alltag. Der Vortrag erklärt, wo und wie die Diskriminierungen stattfinden und wie wir als Gesellschaft dagegen vorgehen können. Viele Sinti*zze und Rom*nja verstecken aus Sorge vor Nachteilen diesen Teil ihrer Identität. Veranschaulicht wird dies anhand von Erfolgsgeschichten von Menschen mit Romani-Hintergrund, die man vielleicht nicht als Teil der Community vermutet.
